Tulare Comix Fundraiser

On Saturday, April 4, Boys & Girls Club of the Sequoias will be hosting its 13th Annual Comix Dinner & Comedy Show to benefit the Tulare Boys & Girls Club. This annual fundraiser features a dinner, silent and live auctions, and a stand-up comedy show. This year we have an encore performance by Tulare native comedian, Johnny Sanchez and Friends. Johnny is one of America’s premiere comedians. He was a cast member on FOX’s hit sketch comedy series MADtv, and also lent his voice to the Oscar Winning Animated film, Happy Feet and Happy Feet Two. To keep it an all Tulare event, Scot Hillman will be our emcee and David Macedo will be our auctioneer. We plan to bring in local foods, wines and desserts for your enjoyment as well. We are expecting a big turnout so the event has been moved to the Tulare Heritage Center this year.
